IU releases “Le Le Le Begins” CF for ‘Le Coq Sportif’

Last month, we reported that soloist IU would continue as the endorsement model for French sports brand, ‘Le Coq Sportif‘. The brand has finally revealed its ‘Le Le Le Begins’ school-themed CF starring the bubbly Korean songstress.

Reportedly, IU was given freedom to be creative and put together her own sporty ensembles for this shoot. IU opted for outfits that showcased the charming life of a teenage girl, from heading to school to gearing up for sports to lounging at home.

A representative from Le Coq Sportif remarked, “The shoes that IU selected are extremely colorful, and consumers are now labeling them ‘IU’s running shoes’ — it has since become a hot commodity. 60% of the items sold within a month after it went to distribution and we immediately received re-orders. We’re definitely seeing the benefits of the ‘IU effect’.”
