IU in “You and I”

Fans have fallen in love with IU’s whimsical look for “You and I“, and it’s a great addition to any wardrobe.

This vintage-inspired look centers around a cute one-piece dress. There are tons of vintage dresses out there, and the key is to find a fit for your body type that suits you just right.

IU’s dress incorporates a contrast collar that gives off a sweetheart vibe, and the shorter hemline makes it fun and flirty. There’s no danger of a dull, school uniform look here — in fact, it’d be perfect for a daytime date.

Another way to bring that vintage flair into your closet is to find the perfect blouse with a peter pan collar. Choosing a collar with a fun pattern or wearing it with a knit is a great way to keep the top from getting stuffy or looking too much like workwear. Pair it with a short, full skirt or a pair of skinny jeans and you’re good to go!

The must-have from this outfit are the pop-colored mary jane pumps. Their retro style brings something fresh to any outfit and is perfect for the upcoming Spring season. Colorful pumps can be dressed down with jeans or dressed up with a sexy one-piece for a night on the town. Look for them in a great material like satin or velvet.

Tie everything together with a few smart accessories from the local flea market or thrift store. Faux pearls or a leather watch will bring some authenticity to your IU-inspired look.

The Japanese fans on set that were present to see the actor reportedly fell head over heels.

At the interview that took place shortly after the shoot, Jang Geun Seuk remarked, “My mom looked into my fortune for 2012 and she told that I would continue to be busy until next year. She told me to brace myself. Looking back on 2011, I wanted to do a lot of things that I enjoy, but the fact that people were saying that I was only a big deal in Japan and a nobody in Korea was really quite burdensome and difficult.”

The actor who seemed more exhausted than usual also said, “It’s true that I have accomplished a lot more than I expected or thought I would, and there’s a lot on my mind. I just hope that the public will accept me for the way I am, and watch me to continue to grow and develop.”
